We are looking for friendly individuals that would have the ability to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency by processing guests' transactions of goods and services while providing superior guest service. This position is responsible for maintaining open communication on the status of the department with the Store Directors, Clerks, and Supervisor. Will be expected to set and re-set priorities, distinguish between the urgent and the important, solve problems, hold and reconcile ideas and lead program development as well as advancement strategies from conception through cultivation to completion.
Full Time hourly position. Usually 40 hours 6 days a week. Must be available to adjust schedule to meet business demands including working weekdays, weekends, holidays for various shifts, evenings, and on occasion work at another store location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Exemplify superior guest service with a friendly, helpful and courteous attitude. Cuts and trims meat according to Buy For Less standards Operates electric grinder/saw/knife sharpener/tenderizer/slicer Have knowledge of rotation, sanitation, shrink awareness, merchandising skills, cutting skills, and using the saw and grinder Cuts and trims meat to size for display or as ordered by the guest Wrap, count and price packages, and weigh up any price per pound packages that will be displayed in counter Rotates products in meat cooler and ensures proper storage practices Keeps whole department clean and in optimum sanitary conditions Ensure the production of high quality merchandise and service Controlled freshness by rotating and coding all products and remove out-of-code merchandise Ensure meat is fresh and visually appetizing on cases Maintaining and refilling meat cases and related products Maximizing sales through excellent guest service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of procedures Follows department and company policies and procedures Enforces Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, and cleanliness of work environment Have knowledge of products, provides information to guests regarding use and preparation of meats Creativity, flexibility, and an entrepreneurial spirit that enable partnering with every culture, team member, support center level leadership, individual Store Directors, Vendors and Guest! (aka. Customer).
